Course Overview
Welcome to Awakened Self: Conscious Living for Teens, a brave and nurturing space for teen girls to explore the deeper layers of themselves and the world around them. This series is guided by Amber Melendy and grounded in the works of Dr. L. Wilson. It offers a unique space for soulful growth, critical thinking, emotional maturity, and spiritual insight.
Amber shares teachings from Dr. Wilson's Teen Articles, weaving in stories, reflection, embodiment practices and journaling prompts. This is a space of realness, reverence, and inner transformation.
This series is designed for teens who are ready to explore:
How do I live with integrity in a chaotic world?
What does it mean to heal, forgive, love, and lead?
How can I protect my body, mind, and spirit?
What forces shape me, and how do I stay free?
Course Format
Age Group: Teen girls ages 14+ (mature 13-year-olds welcome with parent dialogue)
Meeting: Tuesday, and Thursday - 2:30-3:30pm
Session Structure: Embodied movement exercises + Teaching + Reflection and Conversation + Journaling + Integration Practice

Facilitator Amber Melendy is a mother, guide, rites-of-passage facilitator, and founder of the Rose Tent. She weaves together wisdom traditions, body-based awareness, and a fierce love for truth to support teens in navigating life with soul and sovereignty.
